On February 22, 2025, as a first-time practice, the current MBAEx batch 18 and its Student Admissions Team (SAC) welcomed the forthcoming MBAEx batch 19 on campus in an endeavour to enculturate the new entrants into the programme. Christened as Confluence, the event was designed to ease the next batchs transition into the program and foster meaningful connections between successive cohorts. The event commenced with an address by Prof. Saravana Jaikumar as MBAEx Chairperson-in-Charge, followed by welcome notes from Prof Biju Paul Abraham & Prof. Manju Jaiswall.
The incoming batch also had the unique opportunity of attending a live session of Machine Learning in Action with Prof. Soumyakanti Chakraborty and a Being A CEO session with the session guest speaker Mr. Dhaval Jain, offering them an early glimpse into the academic rigor of the program. A structured knowledge transfer (KT) session and interactive networking further strengthened the bridge between the two batches. With Confluence, MBAEx continues to build a legacy of peer-driven learning and strong professional networking, ensuring that every new batch enters the program with guidance, confidence, and community support.
