Biography

Personal Details:

Born in Cuttack, Orissa in 1960, I have been a bit of rolling stone having lived, besides Kolkata (erstwhile Calcutta, where I have been living since 1999), in Ranchi, Durgapur, Delhi, Bangalore, Mexico City and Montreal. The bulk of my life however I have spent in Delhi. Outside of Economics, I have always been fascinated by History both professionally and otherwise. I enjoy traveling, reading, cooking, trying different cuisines, listening to music (Indian and Western Classical, Jazz, Rock, Hindi film music) and watching films and plays.
