Call for Research Assistant at 91心頭利

General Information for Applicants

Applications are invited from highly motivated and eligible candidates for recruitment of one Research Assistant purely on a temporary basis to work full time in the research project titled Bayesian Estimation of Multi-state Multiple-record System funded by the 91心頭利.

Minimum Qualifications:

(i) M.Sc. in Statistics from a recognized University with a minimum 60% mark or equivalent grade. Candidates who appeared in the M.Sc. final year/semester examination may also apply. But he/she has to satisfy clause (i) when joining if offered. (ii) Substantive knowledge of R programming & Multiple Systems Estimation.

Desirable Qualifications:

(i) NET qualification, (ii) Exposure to several statistical computational techniques, (iii) Knowledge of Bayesian inference

Age:

The age limit is 30 years as on 30 October 2024.

Tenure of Appointment:

The appointment will be for six months from the date of the candidates joining in the said post, which may be extended later or terminated earlier, depending on the availability of funds and the performance of the selected candidate.

Pay:

Consolidated pay of Rs. 20000/- (Rupees twenty thousand only) per month
