Candidates are expected to conduct high-quality research, contribute to our vibrant and expanding programs at the post-graduate and doctoral levels, participate in the Institutes engagement with the professional community, and engage in administration/service to the academic and research communities. Requirements
Professor: Ph.D. with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the appropriate area with a very good academic record and a minimum of ten years of Teaching/Industry/Research experience of which at least four years should be at the level of Associate Professor at 91心頭利s or other peer institutes in India/ abroad. The candidate should have demonstrated leadership in research in a specific area of specialization in terms of strong record of publications in reputed journals and refereed conferences, course development and/or other recognized relevant professional activities.
Associate Professor: Ph.D. with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the appropriate area with a very good academic record throughout and a minimum of six years of Teaching/Industry/Research experience, of which at least three years should be at the level of Assistant Professor at 91心頭利s or other peer institutes in India/ abroad. The candidate should have demonstrated adequate experience of independent research in terms of publications in reputed journals and refereed conferences, course development and/ or other recognized relevant professional activities.
Assistant Professor Grade I: Ph.D. with first class at the preceding degree or equivalent in the appropriate area with a very good academic record throughout and at least three years of industrial/research/teaching experience as on the date of application excluding the experience gained while pursuing Ph.D. Candidate should have demonstrated research capabilities in terms of publications in reputed journals and refereed conferences.
Assistant Professor Grade II: Eligible candidates with less than the requisite experience may be considered for contractual Assistant Professor Grade II positions with appropriate pay as per GoI rules. Candidates taken as Assistant Professor Grade II may be considered for a regular position of Assistant Professor Grade I after fulfilling necessary experience and subject to satisfactory performance as per Institute policy and GoI rules.
Candidates appointed as regular faculty at the level of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor Grade I, shall undergo a minimum probation period of 2 years. Salary and allowances shall be as per Government of India norms. Institute has a liberal research support policy.
Notes:
- Candidates having an excellent academic record, demostrable track records of publications in reputed peer-reviewed journals appropriate to the level applied for, good communication skills would be preferred. Demonstrated success in teaching is desirable.

- Short-listed candidates will be required to (a) make a seminar presentation on a research topic of their choice and (b) appear in a personal interview with the Faculty Selection Committee.
- Based on the circumstances, there will be an option to conduct the seminar and interview via videoconferencing mode.

Business Ethics & Communications:
Assistant Professor for Ethics:Applicant has a Ph.D. preferably in Philosophy, research active in moral philosophy (both western and Indian) and its relevance to management (will be an added advantage), with 0-2 years of teaching experience in related areas.
Assistant Professor for Communication:The applicant has a PhD in Communication (viz. Corporate/ Social Media/ Digital/ Computational/ Rhetoric/ Applied/ Linguistics/ Analytics/ Ethnography) and demonstrates competence in teaching and research within the context of a management institution. Orientation in critical thinking and contemporary/diverse methodological approaches desired.
Economics: Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. We are looking for candidates with strong research interests in the area of Macroeconomics.
Finance & Control: Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. We are looking for candidates with strong research interests in any one or more of the following areas: Financial Reporting and Disclosures, Asset Pricing, FinTech, Alternative Investment Management, and Banking, Financial Services & Insurance (BFSI).
Human Resource Management: Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. We are looking for candidates with strong research and teaching interests in the area of Strategic and Operational HRM and Employee/Labor Relations.
Strategic Management: Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. We are looking for candidates with strong research and teaching interests in all subfields of Strategy, Entrepreneurship and International Business.
Marketing: Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. We are looking for candidates with strong research and teaching interests in the areas of Sales, Distribution, Retailing, Product and Brand Management, Consumer Culture Theory and Critical Theory, IMC and Digital Marketing, and Marketing Analytics.
Management Information Systems: Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. We are looking for candidates with strong research and teaching interests in the areas of Cloud Computing, Augmented Reality/Virtual Reality, Metaverse, Social Media Analytics, People Analytics, Marketing Analytics and Digital Marketing, Digital Society, Technology Entrepreneurship, E-Business, Digital Product Management, User Experience, Systems Thinking, Design Science, Data Engineering, Information Visualisation, Industry 4.0, Internet of Things (IoT), Enterprise Systems, E-governance, ICT for Development, along with strategic, behavioural and organisational issues related to information technology, digital and high-tech work environments.
Operations Management: Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. We are looking for candidates with strong research and teaching interests in Operations Research (OR), Quantitative Techniques for Decision Making, Game Theoretic Applications in Operational Problems, Operations & Supply Chain Analytics, Statistics and its business applications, Manufacturing 4.0, Contemporary topics in Operations like Healthcare, Platform, Sustainability, and Behavioral Operations, Technology & Supply Chain Operations or other related areas. Candidates with interests in cross-functional research with emphasis in OR area may also apply.
Public Policy and Management: Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. We are looking for candidates with expertise in the area of urban governance.
Organizational Behaviour: Assistant/Associate/Full Professor. We are primarily looking for candidates with strong research and teaching interests in micro-OB/ I-O Psychology/Social Psychology. However, we encourage candidates with focus on other areas (such as macro-OB or OT) to also apply.
